With this win, Rafa reasserted itself as the world number one and won his sixth Grand Slam. Peter Asaro shares his opinions and ideas on the topic at hand. On the other hand, Roger, was unable to reach Sampras’s record of 14 Grand Slam tournaments. After losing and let the feeling of having given the final in certain stretches of the match, Federer was a fraction that moved and had to cut his words on receiving the award for having reached the final to be invaded by a sea of tears. On the other side could see a Rafa, but happy for his victory, moved by the pain of Roger, a rival on the pitch but a gentleman outside of it. The final in five sets is defined left us a score of: 7-5, 3-6, 7-6, 3-6, 6-2.
Rafa is making history but about four years ago, when it exploded in 2005, this time took another laurel to the Spanish tennis. This will surely end become one of those parties who enter tennis history as the day not only for the first time that Rafa won the Australian Open, but the epic of the same. We saw two tennis player, we saw two gladiators, two masters of battle, muto capping their respect in a thrilling final embrace. Thanks for so much talent!
